I've had a pair of Omega Grande 6Rs for about a decade. I listen to moderate and low level volumes in a small room. Very clear and intimate sound. I run them with a 10 watt First Watt F1 amp. In the past I've also used my Eico HF-81. I'd not be surprised if they worked well with SET, but I've never tried that.

The paper Fostex cones took a long time to break in. I almost gave up, but glad I didn't. Sorry I've never tried the newer models... but I'm happy with what I've got.
