I have owned a pair of Meadowlark Kestrel speakers run by a SE 300B amp. The speakers were wonderful, but room placement was critical in getting them to sound their best. I have heard two pair of Straight 8’s and I would not consider them an upgrade to the Meadowlark Shearwaters.
