After offing my older Fostex 168 Sigma's, I was always aware of the memory of their detail. It wasn't like it was gnawing at me, or I was thinking of recomparing. But one can have doubts. And not closing the old door, or burning one's bridge IS the way to go.So many jump at the next thing, leaving their musical enjoyment behind. In my case though, the speakers that I'm now using just slapped me upside my head, and said: Enjoy! (though less detail than the Fostex) I wasn't looking to try something different. I didn't even bother to give them a proper home. Just slapped em on some scraps from the garage as a looksie, after bringing the drivers home from the swap meet. Call it serendipity.
The old saying, I'd rather be lucky .......
