For many years I used mostly electrostatic and ribbon or planar,When I build large horn systems I try to get some of the dipole magic of electro etc.3.6 is 1 of my favorite comercal loudspeakers,last pair was used little only to check progress I find the horns and fullranges to be more musical plus you can run SET.Your sugestion about Merlin is apt I will look into it Thxs for the post
