Thxs for your post I do use memory but like to keep the other systems arround so I can go back and tell if my memory was correct.I find that one gets used to the sound of a system and once its gone you feel a bit of a loss even if new one is better but if you AB the 2 you reinforce whitch is the better loudspeaker or component etc.
