Hi Paul:Well, I guess cheap is not exactly the right word. 1200 beans for a pair of drivers is not cheap but given the normal price and that Lowther prices are going up I rationalized it as "relatively cheap."
I just found them on Agon. I have about half dozen things going on at once right now (300b, TVC, a different speaker project(Prometheus), an output stage to a cdp) so the DX4s are going to sit for about 2-3 months. I think I might clam-shell them together and run pink noise through them the entire time just to get them "broken in."I'll let you know how the project comes along if you do the same with me.
