What is the best way to break them in???I just went on a binge of buying drivers that I am going to use in Open Baffles. I have the "Prometheus" kit that Diyhifi sells.
I have the drivers clam-shelled, wired opposite phase, and have been sending pink noise through them 24/7 for the last 10 days.I intend on doing the same thing with the DX 4s. I'm going to try these in an open baffle Dick Olsher design (bassZilla-Audax bass units, DX4s from about 150hz up and Aurum Cantus tweeters.) The excursion on the the Lowthers is tiny. This won't damage them them will it?
