Jusbe,You know what. I plan (Yea right) to be satisfied with my Fostex 206e's and Lowther DX-3's. I may try to build various cabinet types in time, although I must have professionals cut the Baltic Birch to spec (my hands aren't what they used to be).
I think that the Fostex 206e, even in my moderate sized bass reflex Baltic birch cabinets are an absolute steal! They are very detailed and ALIVE!!! They afford more bass than a pair of B&W Nautalis 805's which is plenty in my 19'L x 12' W x 8'.5" H room. These Fostex's in the simple ,David Dicks', designed 1.3 bass reflex cabinets is the biggest suprise in my 30+ years as an audio system enthusiast.
I hope that the Lowther's run in and offer even more of a good thing? If not, then I will still be extreemely satisfied with my new found single driver revelation.Lance
