Re: Any White Instruments Room EQ users here?

I have a pair of 4001's (no luck finding full passive models yet) that I will be playing with soon. What I plan on doing first is just using them stock but am thinking instead of using the passive crossovers I built into the front end of my amps using the output ports that are already on the 4001's out into my (versus the White Instruments modules) own little first order r/c crossover networks. That way I eliminate the Daven stepped attenuators I use now for my 100 cycle up amps and take advantage of the transformer coupled output of the EQ's to drive the amps. I also am curious to hear if anyone has upgraded the OPAMPs and as you mentioned replaced them with some good linear triodes. ! : )
