First, if you want good HF from a folded horn you have to use rounded wide radius bends, not 45 degree reflectors. I'm sure that you don't see how 1.6K from a folded horn is possible because you haven't either seen or heard one of my horns. No offense taken. There are still tribes in New Guinea that have never seen an airplane and surely they cannot fathom the fact that human beings indeed can fly.BTW, my DR250a is now being tested by bass players on the club circuit in the Pacific Northwest. The first one to use this single 10 folded horn immediately wanted to buy one to replace his David Eden cabinetry. While finding the bass response to be huge he was most impressed with the mid and high frequency presence, the best he'd ever heard- his words, not mine.
If you accept that something cannot be done then it is a very safe bet that you won't be the first to do it.
