Ahh, but here John you've found another issue with the Unity horn. There is only one frequency region that is acoustically loaded by the horn. Basically, most of the audio band is not horn loaded. That's why the device only has about 100dB sensitivity.

That's not bad, in and of itself. Most loudspeakers containing horns are only actually horn-loaded for a portion of the audio spectrum. In the case of the Unity, it is the midrange band.

But I think it is important to point this out on this thread, because the impression is given that the device is horn loaded over the entire range of the device. It is not.
