I have the Zu Essence, which is very close to your speakers. I have run them with a pair of 5 watt DIY ACA amps. They sounded great. What you have to ask is what kind of pre-amp you have. They did require almost twice the level as the 35watt PP amp I was using before. But then my pre was not turned up very much with these sensitive speakers, and a 35 watt amp.
I would say yes, from experience.
