Zu says use 4—12 watt (average room, moderate volume), sounds right.
In room volume really depends on the room, but at a couple meters the pair should be able to peak around 100 dB both driven with 5 watts (at 12 ohms).
I seldom listen that loud at home, but if you want club levels or lots of bass you would want 10 dB or more power, 50 watts per channel.
