Congratulations Rolf. You too have discovered that the pursuit of "HiFi" led to the same place where that bird ended up who flew in ever decreasing circles! I play drums and therefore I listen acutely to kit and cymbal sounds. No way have I ever heard the characteristics of Old Ks on multiways. My path to Nirvanah has been "full-range" (AERs) and horns (Hedlunds). Good to hear that the Rehdekos deliver the goods too. Try a spud amp sometime, build it yourself if necessary. I can send you the circuit of the one I'm using which outclasses my 45 amp for a fraction of the cost. Brian.
