You know, it's such a potentially frustrating dilema. I have spent more than thirty five years evaluating and living with sooo many amplifiers, tube and the occasional worth while solid stater. I have found my absolute favorite. Unfortunately, it is also the least powerful. I continue to be stunned by what the little 2 watt Yamamoto A-08S can do. Of course it can do what it can do hooked up to my equally impressive Lowther DX-4/Medallion III + dual subwoofer combination which are VERY efficient and easy to control.
But damn it, I also fell in love with 15" Altec and Tannoy dual concentric/coaxial based speakers many years ago. They were that rare speaker system that fooled me into believing that there was actually live music happening in the room housing these wonderful speakers. Now I want to add a pair of these beauties to my limited collection, and they must work with the magical Yamamoto amplifier.
Hey, Mr. Yamamoto does it so It must be viable, I hope.
Thanks guys.
