Was thinking how absurd it is to mention "JT" & "RS" in same musical breath...

In reference to the post below re: RS "Aftermath After Midnight" SACD experience and subsequent posts recommending the new JT SACD:
On a purely music level, to me the two artists are seemingly diametrically opposed: The Stones made *rock music* with a full-on set of "rocks" (or "stones" if your like), that you'd bring a "chick" to see in your '72 Chevy Nova, while JT's music is representative of emasculated 'soft-rock' of the 70's-something you'd now bring your mini-van driving, soccer-mom wife in her Treetorn sneakers to see.
...then I considered heroin, Mick and Carly's lips (both in terms of the obvious physical similarity as well as singing "You're So Vain" together), and that Mick and JT probably at least shared a few syringes and/or Carly's lips...
So maybe they (RS & JT) aren't so mutually exclusive after all...?
I know-I'm digressing. I'm a bad person and I'm going to H*LL aren't I !?!
With my tongue in my cheek (only slightly) and a mischievous gleam in my eye...
