Just out of interest and given my earlier comment below, what was your download and replay method?
of course the test was blind so is possible that what you thought sounded compressed were the 29/06 samples and the open ones were MP3s :-).
Not surprised about Black Sabbath difficulty. As someone ( I think here in AA) once pointed out, if the things that make a difference are not on the recording in the first place no matter what technology is used subsequently they will still not be there.
