The usual type of meaningless test.
I would guarantee that a majority of respondents using PC or Mac computers to take the test will be hearing neither a straight MP3 nor a straight 24/96 file. Why? Because they will need to set their computer's sound mixer to match the incoming data for each test sample (the identity of which is supposedly hidden) to achieve a bit perfect stream to their DAC. Otherwise the incoming data will be sample rate changed to match whatever has been preset in their mixer's configuration and all files will be up or downsampled to that same resolution. So many people do not realise this.
