I heard the Terminator in a system at the recent North West audio show. It's s great DAC. But I felt no compulsion to bring one home and hear more.
So I am not surprised by your findings even if my utterly unfair and insubstantial (non-)comparison left me nonplussed.
And yes, I will be keeping my 1704K DAC, with its fancy output stage and power supply. I'd love to audition a Rockna Wavedream, but I'm in no rush.
