RE: Portable Hi-Rez for classical

I don't have a portable system, but I own an ifi Nano iDSD DAC, which I use with my computer for mastering DSD recordings of vinyl. I don't know anything about the Dragonfly DAC but I really like the ifi Nano iDSD DAC. It would be perfect for use with a smart phone because it has in internal battery to power your headphones and it will decode virtually every conceivable digital format in existence. I use mine in conjunction with TASCAM's Hi-Res Editor software to decode 5.6-MHz DSD, which I find to be the best sounding digital format I've heard thus far.

Good luck,
John Elison
