I am very pleased with the CAYIN CDT-17A SACD player w/ tube driven analog outputs for both RCA and balanced outs. The build quality is superb as is the sound. Great pace and dynamics.
Plays RBCDs and SACDs with equal smoothness and musicality.
This player lists for $2400.00 usd but I think I can get you one for your $1500.00 ceiling price.
I have A/B'd this player with several in the $5000.00 range and the CAYIN performed equal to or better than all I heard within this price range.
