The difference between Red Book CDs and SACDs to my ears is night and day with relatively few exceptions. The increased resolution gives my sound-stage 'air' as well as better retrieval of minute details. Better extension at both ends of the audio spectrum and a much cleaner presentation in general.
Anyone who can't instantly hear the many improvements of the SACD format either requires a better CD player and/or analog reference system or better hearing.

- It does not add up because many hear differences but those differences don't always favor SACD. - Robert C. Lang 18:56:40 01/18/09 (1)
