Thanks for the tip on the Audyssey set up tricks. I will take a look and see if I can improve it. I did try a repeat set up...mic was at ear level and above rear of couch using a tripod and execute on five locations along the couch. The result was a little better, but I still ended up preferring the Audyssey out when I compared the sames tracks on LP and listened to cymbals (Bill Evans - Portraits in Jazz). I will keep at it. I have spoken at length with the designer of my speakers (Roy Johnson) and I am fully aware that the design of my Continuum 3 speakers and center channel are a phase and time coherent design with 1st order crossover slopes which greatly contributes to their very low coloration and primary reason I was drawn to them.
