but in general, my vinyl rig which is from the 70-80's is more euphonic on same music genre (orchestra and other classical) than my digital rig.
So, is this fair or OK--comparing an ancient low entry level Linn LP 12 playing a good copy 5S/4S shaded dog of the Reiner Pictures versus the RCA hybrid 2 ch SACD layer played on a once top of the line Pioneer Elite DV 47Ai? That is your point, and I understand.
But I reacted to posters who knock the whole analog medium ("baby with the bath water") and folks do that, in my opinion, kind of recklessly.
