"How many of you have given up redbook since getting into SACD?"Well, I can understand that if you are buying a few titles a month or even a year and SACD, or DVDA, is releasing what you want on either format, then you might not want to bother with CD/LP.
For me, I buy more than a few titles a year, some years being busier than others, but neither format has the music that I really enjoy and CD and LP have enough of the JAZZ and CLASSICAL titles to keep me coming back. Virgin and Best Buy are phasing out SACDs and DVDAs so my visits aren't going to help my HiRez consumption. If I read here about something interesting, I will seek it out.
I have about 1300 LPs and about 1400 CDs/DVDAs/SACDs, so there's plenty out there that I haven't discovered and I'm not pigeonholing myself into any one format.
Take care, Chris
