the point is supposed to be that quality can survive even in a mass market world. The fact that a Ferrari is expensive makes this point even more strongly.But OK, for an example that leaves cost out of the equation, look at this summer's documentary movies- Capturing the Friedmans, Spellbound and Winged Migration- as well as Rivers and Tides a bit earlier- each of them thought-provoking, and all 4 of them successful financially, not to the degree of Bad Boys 2 or Terminator 3- but managing to coexist with the blockbusters. And all movies have the same admission price, so this is a level playing field in terms of cost.
