Given a large population of people, you can set up any test you want. You are going to have some percentage of people who like the SACD layer better, some percentage who think they are equal, and some percentage who like the CD layer better.Maybe on a cheap system, the "equal" percentage will be high. Maybe on a really good system, the "SACD better" percentage will be high.
But there will never be 100% agreement. Never. You can have 2 people listen to exactly the same recording on exactly the same system and completely disagree on whether it is well recorded or poorly recorded. Because people have different things to listen for.
So the best science you can do on this subject is your own personal listening experiment. In the end, that has more meaning to you than any confusing set of population averages.
