Just a passing comment on the "Hot Rocks" SACD issue I picked up Tuesday morning. I'm not sure if NR was used as our friend, tape hiss, is heard on some tracks; however, there is something going on that sounds veiled, murky with a definite lack of dynamics. Compression? I dunno, but certainly not the "life" I was expecting from the analog tapes - I've heard better Stones with more expression, excitement and life. Generally, OK detail but I'm disappointed with the overall result.
