I'm curious about Apple Music. I can see paying $0.99 for a song that I wanted. But paying $10 to download an entire album in compressed format? No way. For albums, I'd rather go the used CD/new jewel case route. Plus, CDs have resale value, whereas CD-Rs made from downloaded files do not.I'm not sure that downloading has become a habit. But I do think people who download an album for $10 from Apple Music think they are getting a great deal. They are, considering that FYE sells new CDs for $19.98. And as far as compression goes, nobody seems to care because nobody can hear the difference. I mean, how many people under age 25 have even heard a component stereo system?
