laziness is a factor for me as well, although I don't bother to clean LPs unless they come in used and really need it...still it is undeniably easier not to get up every 15-20 minutes to change sides...nevertheless for serious listening these days it's LP, much as I enjoy most SACDs and continue to buy them quite voraciously...I do enjoy being able to play something like the Turangalila Symphony repeatedly and really get into it but then when I get the infrequent time to listen to music and do nothing else, I find the vinyl to be fully involving in a unique way and for me that's all about detail. Of course this may change in time if I get Meitner or equivalent, but for now, that's how it is.
