I've bought about 80 SACD's in the last year or so and they have all played flawlessly on my DV-45a. Last week I bought a Telarc Monty Alexander SACD that is unplayable on 3 tracks - it generates huge noise signals that sound like a tube exploding in my EICO - DAMHIKT. The first time it happened I thought my system was toast. The electrical effects are so large inside the player that it knocks the processor and the digital counter offline. IT works OK as a CD, but is banished to my car. Anyone else ever run across anything like this. There is no visible surface damage on the disk and the other 10 tracks play just fine. It's the weirdest thing I ever encountered.
