then your post is about you, adn not sound quality.
The issue I raise is "Could the best redbook capture the sound quality of this 1954 mono recording?" And since there are still some redbooks that equal SACD, the answer has to be "yes". Not just tot his, but almost all older recordings. And maybe all recordings. But that is another issue.
