I can honestly say that my 777, after Level 6 mods, very well may sound better on good old redbook now than it did on SACD prior to the mods. After soon Ubering up, we'll soon see where she goes from there.

I believe a lot of pro SACD people here have bastardized the view that CD played back on a properly built or modded machine can sound darn good (even quite excellent at times) into CD sounds better than SACD.
