You are welcome to your opinion....

but be aware that Teresa is not the only one who disagrees with you. There are multiple players (Robert's EMM Labs comes to mind) where no effort has been spared to make both SACD and CD sound as good as possible. The same is true with many of the universal players like the Linn Unidisk 2.1. I expect that Racerguy will tell us that the Ayre sounds very good with both.

You need to take your own advice and actually listen to some high end players in multiple formats before making such an broad statement
