Well, CES is finally following Mike Maloney's lead of the last 4 years and providing some free sandwiches and such at the pool area of the Alexis Park. I don't know which day(s) this is, but it might be posted on the CES website. However, since the move to the Tuscany was fairly sudden (from the Rio), free lunches at the Tuscany won't be available this year. Mike is taking the $15,000 expense (for lunches) and putting it towards taking good care of the exhibitors, such as hiring extra staff. Whenever any exhibitor had a problem (at the St. Tropez), the show staff were on it within minutes. This great service and care has been a highlight of T.H.E. SHOW's and will continue with T.H.E. EXPO. I'll gladly give up lunch for this extra care.
And I'll give up the generic sandwiches at the Alexis Park. Across the street from the Tuscany are 6 wonderful restaurants, from Mexican to Japanese to Caribbean, etc. etc. And P.F. Chang's is just a short walk down to Paradise Road. Yum yum. Perhaps one of you gents would like to join me?
