...so these numbers may be "correct". SACD penetration is said to be less than 3% of U.S. households so even if millions of hybrids are sold very few customers will listen to the hi-rez layers. The same is true for DVD-A - who knows how many discs are actually played in DVD-A capable machines as most customers consider surround sound - even in Dolby Digital or dts quality - as the most important step forward.
