...until you pick up the Verdi transport. It appears that the IEEE1394 interface for DSD is optional on the Delius (= more $$), and standard for the Elgar+. Actually, this interface is expected to become the standard for digital DSD transmission, but you're not likely to have a player that uses it yet.
