If you are interested in a stereo (not multichannel) SACD player, by all means try the Lindemann. It is simply wonderful on both SACD and Redbook--including HDCD. Best of all, you get a 30 day trial so that if you are not satisfied completely, you can return the player. I started out with a Marantz SA-1, then added all the current Richard Kern mods available last summer, then got my Lindemann around the first of this year. It was one of the best moves I have ever made, and I mean that for Redbook playback as well as SACD.
