I don't like the way it was mic'ed, and the buzzing on Al Foster's ride cymbal is very distracting. It is not as vivid as some of the older recordings IMO, so yes, it is among the worst jazz SACDs I've heard. Not that it sounds particularly bad--just that the overwhelming majority of other SACDs sound particularly good.
