A bit of an apples to oranges comparison, as the Acoustic Sounds downloads are not only in DSD but have also been remastered by a "master". That likely makes more difference than the file format (depending on what A/D converter was used).
However Del is right - it is super easy to upgrade the firmware in the Oppo 103/5 to be able to rip SACDs to a thumb drive. Then just transfer the contents to your main storage and play back the DSD files through the QX-5 Twenty and let us know what you think.
There are about 10 posts in that sub-thread that distill the instructions for changing the firmware down quite well. If you get stuck, just post again asking for help. It will rip the discs at about 2x or 3x the actual playing time and then you have back up copies of the originals. Much easier than sending them off.
