One way would be to read JA's measurements in Stereophile. There's not a lot of them out there, as most manufacturers just use the digital filter built into the off-the-shelf DAC chip, and to the best of my knowledge no chip manufacturer offers a slow-rolloff, minimum-phase filter - yet.

Unless MQA is lying (by doing something besides slow-rolloff digital filters, such as re-EQing or adding compression or whatever) or cheating (eg, by using different masters, which they have been known to do at least once), then there is absolutely nothing that MQA does that can't be done without having to buy into a lossy, closed (no room EQ), proprietary system that piggybacks DRM (copy protection - another thing that MQA completely misleads both the consumers and the press about).
