sorry - my post was probably more negative than i intended ...

you are interested in finding empirical evidence that sacds are objectively audibly superior to cds.

i'm not interested in that at all, and really don't care. it won't change my buying habits, nor the fact that to me i can clearly hear the difference - to the point that i can detect when i'm playing the cd layer by mistake on the player, which has happened a few times.

you stated that you value euphony over accuracy.

i value accuracy over euphony. there's no point arguing over that, since our value systems are different.

about the only things we seem to agree on is that a dvd player is not necessarily a poor cd player, and we both like the nad 320bee.

in terms of further discussion, there seems to be little point since our perspectives are so different. i don't like arguments for arguments sake, and i certainly don't appreciate it when they devolve to where your posts have gone in the past. you may think it's a harmless dig. i don't.
