Quite right. Parker has become too big in the industry to play judge at the California Wine Tasting Fair. Still, he's conducted such blind tastings in the past. That said, substitute any wine critic for Parker and my analogy holds; said critic would not earn much credibility mistaking one varietal for another.

Sorry to learn that you too are not enamored with SACD. And to think it held such promise when first introduced. What SACD players have disappointed you and what CDP are you currently using?
