Your failure to compare your mods to the Super Clock 2 or any other
clock upgrade makes your sonic observations, worthless!
Where is your frame of reference? Having never installed the Super
Clock, you pronounce your mods better.
The mods you mention have already been tried long ago by myself
and other modifiers. When the Super Clock 1 & 2 came on the market,
the mods you mention took on a lower order of priority.
Yes, I still replace regulators, caps and OP Amps in the digital
section of the Sony's, but the degree of sonic improvement compared
to the Super Clock 2 is low. The Super Clock 2 is that good!
