Yeah... I saw those at Guitar Center... when I went there looking for the Shure....

Unfortunately right now with Covid most places have their listening stations shut down. Which makes it nearly impossible to audition anything let alone what you might be specifically interested in.... After listening to countless YouTube vids and driving half way around the world to either find working listening stations or just to touch and feel the various sets that piqued my interest. I ended up with yet another shortlist which was the Shure SRH 840, Sennheiser Momentum 2 wireless and Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H4. I was able to see in person the Beyerdynamic headphones and the Shure at Guitar Center, but I was very disappointed with the build quality on both...even though both had been rated fairly well in the videos that I had watched. The Sennheiser I liked and were comfortable but they were not the end all in resolution and dynamics and were for lack of a better word too polite. The B & O were kind of just what I have been looking for... Simple in appearance, SUPER comfy and with a nice nuanced presentation. I already own the B & O A8 mini in-ear phones and love those! I can probably pick up the B & O for around $100. which is great considering they retail for around 3 times that amount! Unless something else makes an appearance, that will be the way I go....
