AKG K72, K92, K240, K7XX (and probably all the other AKGs that look like these) rest lightly on the head and are comfortable. Prices run up to about $140 for new 240s, but used K92s are pretty close to your budget. All AKGs are smooth, musical, and fairly rugged. (The 240s are often found in studios.) The sound is just a touch on the polite side, so you won't have the Grado ka-POW factor which I find fatiguing. As your budget is tight, buy them "pre-broken-in" i.e. used.
