So, let me get this straight: You're using a $2500, 60-lb, 250-wpc solid state power amplifier to drive a little pair of headphones? All I can say is, "To each his own!"

I use my Parasound Halo A21 to drive a pair of Thiel CS3.7 speakers. I've got a Grado HPA-1 headphone amplifier for my moving coil headphones. Additionally, I recently bought a pair of Koss ESP/950 electrostatic headphones for $684 on Amazon and they came with their own headphone amplifier. The Koss electrostatics really sound spectacular.

Anyway here's picture of my Parasound Halo A21 with the speakers it drives:
