Allow me to add some further thoughts to the good advice offered by other posts. You cannot assume that each reviewer have heard all considered components. HP of TAS has many times pointed out that the absence of a review in his mag means only that they have not yet experienced that unit. Nothing more.Individual preferences do play a key role and TAS periodically will publish comments by their reviewers to indicate their biases. My tastes run somewhat differently than many reviewers so I use their opinions as helpful guidelines to assist the ultimate determination, my own.
