RE: RIP Christine

I'm with you, Mike. The Peter Green era was still a blues band. The wiki says that Christine played as a studio musician with Green before she became a member of the band. By '71, Green had moved on.

The next era with Bob Welch, Danny Kirwan and Christine was totally different with Bare Trees and Future Games which were albums that we played to death in '72 and '73. The band toured in '72 and we got tickets in Long Beach that was fantastic. The venue was an old 30s style theater with a stage and loge above that extended over most of the ground floor seats. The sound was great and none of the seats were more than 100 feet away from the stage.

The later Fleetwood Mac and Rumors albums are excellent. Again, like a new band altogether. Sadly, it was so over played on the radio and everywhere that I didn't want to hear them for years.
