Let's see, my main system might retail for perhaps $25K, but some of the gear was used and some is DIY, so my cost is more like $10K.
My office system is all used, except the streamer and DAC, and mostly vintage gear and adds up to around $12K. Vintage gear prices have clearly beat inflation with my amps valued at more than 10X of their original price.
